Prince Harry 'happy right where he is in Montecito mansion' not with royals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be joining the royals for the holiday season. Sources claim the royal couple will be celebrating the end of the year in their lavish Montecito mansion with Meghan’s mother and close friends.

Despite followers’ hope Prince Harry and Meghan’s ever-increasing distance from the Firm could be bridged during the holiday season, the Sussexes remain away from the UK. Meanwhile, King Charles invited his stepchildren and grandchildren of his wife Queen Camilla to the official royal family’s holiday gathering at Sandringham for the first time, a report claimed.

Prince Harry and Meghan are away from the royals this holiday season

Meghan and Harry are not coming back to the UK anytime soon. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly spending the holiday season in their Montecito mansion.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield questioned if Harry even wants to ‘be there’ with the royal family.

The expert says: “I mean this is a man who has complained about how toxic his family was very openly to the American media for the last few years. I think he is probably happy right where he is in Montecito, California this holiday season.”

Schofield further explains the royal family in the UK is probably spending a ‘happier’ Christmas this time around, as last year they were ‘dealing’ with Meghan and Harry’s Netflix docu-series.

Inside Harry and Meghan’s cozy Christmas

Harry and Meghan are spending yet another Christmas away from the cameras, and sources claim their holiday season will be spent cooking and playing games with close friends.

A source claimed, Meghan’s mother Doria will be joining the Sussexes. “They’ll be cooking, playing games, and swapping gifts,” says the insider.

“They have a tough time trying not to spoil the kids too much!”

Meghan had also earlier revealed Prince Archie’s Christmas wish for a pricey gift will not be met.

The couple had spent their last Christmas with royals in the UK in 2018 at Sandringham, where the late Queen Elizabeth would host Christmas every year as a cherished ritual.
