Demi Moore wears 'fake nipples' and prosthetic baby bump in throwback snaps from The Seventh Sign

She has racked up a series of impressive acting credentials since joining the business in the early eighties. 

And Demi Moore was clearly in the mood for reflection, as she shared a slew of behind-the-scenes snaps from her 1988 movie, The Seventh Sign.

The throwback polaroid snaps saw a then fresh-faced star getting into character with a prosthetic baby bump and fake nipples ahead of filming.

The snaps, taken over three decades ago, saw Demi coming to the end of the laborious process of being fitted with a fake bump and nipples. 

Adding to the requirements of her character, the New Mexico native sported a fake deep red gash across the side of her chest.

The Seventh Sign was Demi's first outing as a a solo film star, and told the tale of Abby Quinn awaiting childbirth but being haunted by dreams where she suffers a miscarriage. 

According to IMDB, 'when Abby decides to rent a room to a mysterious stranger, she realises a chain of events that will unleash the end of humanity.'

While the movie saw little success, Demi went onto achieve monumental success in movies such as Ghost, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Striptease and GI Jane.            

For decades Demi's fit frame has also been touted as one of the finest in the business.

In 1996 she famously bared all as an exotic dancer in Striptease and, later in G.I. Jane, Moore was in incredible shape to play the first woman ever to complete Navy S.E.A.L. training.

As well as her professional endeavours, her personal life has also been well documented over the years. 

At 17, the Striptease front runner met musician Freddy Moore, who she co-wrote three songs with and went on to marry in 1980 up until their divorce in 1985.

She was also in a high profile relationship and marriage with Bruce Willis from 1987 to 2000 - they share three daughters together, Rumer, 30, Scout, 27, and Tallulah, 25.

Demi was then married to Ashton Kutcher from 2005 to 2013.
