More than 250 people came to Laurel Mercantile’s Scent Library on Saturday morning to meet former first daughters and twin sisters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush, who were signing copies of their children’s book “Love Comes First.” They greeted attendees like old friends and posed for photos after signing the books. “We love Laurel and Ben and Erin,” said Hager, a Today show co-host. “It’s a special place and it’s great to be here.” As the book-signing was wrapping up, “Home Town” star Ben Napier came in and showed Hager a video of what sounded like their children playing together at their house that morning, and the two shared a few laughs. Erin Napier has also written a children’s book, “The Lantern House,” along with her recently released “Heirloom Rooms” and a memoir with her husband, “Make Something Good Today.” This is the second book collaboration by the sisters who made their way into the public spotlight when their father George W. Bush became president in 2001. (Photo by Mark Thornton)
